"Swiss Army" Apartment

Whoa, so there is this tiny apartment down in SoHo on the market for a cool $1,000,000, not so bad for NYC sadly. What's so special about it? It is a 420 square foot space that has been remodeled (of course) with that cool Italian furniture I've blogged about that is awesome and space saving. Using the furniture, the apartment can be converted into a guest room, has a pull down projector and moving walls. This place is ridiculous:

The owner, Graham Hill, converted this loft style apartment and spent $365,000 on the renovations. While I am in awe of what they were able to do with the space, there is absolutely no clutter in this place and its making me mad. I understand living with less stuff = more happiness (according to Graham) and I'm all for a minimalist style, but seriously? Try having a baby - babies are small, their stuff is not. We don't even have that much stuff for him, yet the goddamn swing & Jumperoo take up half our floor space and he doesn't even use them that often. I would also like to know where he puts his clothes, files and dishes.

However, if I were a single lady and wanted to live in a cool downtown loft that lives like a two bedroom, sign me up for this place! Maybe I could make it into a bed & breakfast to cover the cost of the maintenance fees...
